If a gallon of gas mixed with oil was accidentally put into a car,can it damage the engine?

if so....how can i get out.engine has not been turned on since. If a gallon of gas mixed with oil was accidentally put into a car,can it damage the engine?
no it wont but it will smoke like hell until that gas is burnt out.If a gallon of gas mixed with oil was accidentally put into a car,can it damage the engine?
it won't hurt a thing, might make it smoke for awhile, but will do no damage.
Probably wont do any harm other than make the engine run a little roughand smoke a bit temporarily. I suggest adding more gas to 'dilute' and thereby minimize the presence of the oil and once that gas is burned it should be fine. I would also advise adding a gas treatment to your next few fill-ups such as STP or something similar like an injector cleaner to prevent gumming up the inner workings of your engine.

Filler up! You should be good to go.
Don't worry about it , it will smoke a little if you had no gas in the car. Just get more gas soon to dilute the oil.
Fill the tank up and dilute the gas/oil mix. You might smoke a bit put some age on the catalytic converter, but if you don't put oil in the fuel tank on a regular basis, the car should survive.
the two dudes are right. Most importantly how much did you put in? if it was 1-2 gallons just put more plain gasoline on top of it. You might shorten the life of your catalytic converter but it nothing to worry about. honest it won't harm a thing.
No it'll smoke alot, just fill it with fresh gas,i'v done it and knew it was mixed but i had to get more beer,so don't woory about it.
