I think the gold coloring was heavier than the motor oil in that more was on the bottom of the drain pan. I didn't put any additives in the oil.I just changed my car oil...it had a yellow tint...what's up with that?

I have a red tint in mine. I think it's the red dye in the paper inside the oil filter. The people who posted before me let their oil get so black they would never see that.
sounds like theres water getting into your oil somewhere.
