If you are worried that your dad thinks your mom is having an affair, don't be. For one, it's none of your business, even though it would affect you directly. And two, if he was really thinking that, he would have checked the gas and maybe the oil, not everything else. Sounds like your dad is just a nice guy who cares about your mother's transportation safety. And it sounds like you need to relax and stop over thinking things. Que sera, sera.
