Does a car have to be perfectly level to check its oil?

Is the dip stick centered into the oil sump pan? Obviously a huge hill will effect the readings, but what what about small slopes?Does a car have to be perfectly level to check its oil?
Level as in not spilling a tall beverage glass filled to the normal top = level enough to get a reasonable reading. For best results the slope should be less than 1'; in 10' but do not get crazy about it.Does a car have to be perfectly level to check its oil?
the dip stick was designed to be read on an engine that has set not running for at least 15 minutes. unless you are on an incline of say 30 degrees the dip stick should be close enough for any concerns you have. it just must be above the add mark and below the full mark
Nope, does not need to be perfectly level.

Any small incline wont make a difference, as long as it is in the ';safe'; level you are fine.

Front to back side to side makes no difference.
no doesn't have to b perfectly level but the person checking the oil needs to take the hill into account....
get it on a level spot and check it.
