not eco friendly but the best thing i have seen is saturate the stail with kerosene, then cover with cat litter. sweep up the next morning and be amazed...How do you remove car stains such as oil and rust from the driveway? I have heard cat litter mixed with Coke?
You neglected to mention what type of surface it was.If it's concrete then gasoline works well. How do you remove car stains such as oil and rust from the driveway? I have heard cat litter mixed with Coke?
just use cat litter. it works the best and is the cheapest cure for it
i use it all the time. just pour some on the area you want to clean and use your foot and grind it into the area. look at it like a sandblaster for the concrete.
if its on concrete use a small amount of gas with an old brush and work the gas in to it,then cover it with kitty litter, once the litter dries up sweep it off and and stain will be gone,on black top its different you have to use kitty litter to dry it up then clean it with a good soap and dry it,its more work getting it from black top, good luck with it.
there are companies that have things to get the stains out check auto zone or o Riley's. pressure washing helps, but doesn't get it all out
I'd try a spray de-greaser, available from your local car parts store, with cat litter laid on top to soak it up.
Paint your driveway BLACK!!! That will get your Homeowner's ASSociation. panties in a bunch!!! A steam pressure cleaner should work. Then spray a protectant coating on your driveway.
Cat litter soaks up the oil. Gasoline or less toxic OxyClean after that.
CLR for the rust. At stores by Draino.
